You can choose your own hours! Our flexible and remote work environment allows you to fit tutoring around your studies, work, or other commitments. Youāre in control of your schedule.
No, you donāt! Our team handles all student recruitment and matches you with students based on your availability, qualifications, and the subjects you teach.
The time it takes to be matched with your first student depends on the subjects you tutor, your location, and the time of year. Most tutors are matched with their first student within the first few weeks of starting.
We ask that youāre available to tutor at least three students a week. With lessons typically lasting 1.5 hours, this works out to be around 4ā6 hours weekly.
Yes, youāre welcome to work with other tutoring companies. We simply ask that you keep your availability up to date and honour your commitments with us.
Our pay rates start at $35/hour for online lessons and $40/hour for in-person tutoring. You can progress to earning up to $45/hour (online) or $50/hour (in-person) based on performance and promotions.
Youāll be paid weekly, straight into your bank account.
If a student cancels or reschedules a lesson at the last minute, you can still charge for the lesson to cover your preparation time.
