Hi there, my name is Andrew and I studied at Chatswood High School where I graduated with an ATAR of 99.90. For HSC results, I achieved 98 in physics (2nd state rank in NSW), 96 in chemistry, 97 in maths extension 2 and 98 in maths extension 1. On top of that, I also attended various extra-curricular activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award, SRC and School Prefect Team. At the graduation ceremony, I was also awarded the ADF Long Tan Award and Dux of School 2021 Award.
When I was in high school, I went through the EXCRUCIATING pain of being bombarded by massive workloads everyday and thinking exactly "I wish if I had a private tutor, then I could accelerate so much in my academic life"...
If that's what you or your parents are thinking, I GOT YOU ALREADY!
I aspire to tutor students privately since I totally understand the importance of tutoring in helping students to achieve their full academic potentials, especially in the situation where school teachers cannot provide sufficient supports. On top of that, private support helps my students accelerate in other aspects of their lives and unlock their hidden talents along the way of learning.
In daily life, I enjoy physical exercise such as playing basketball and working out at a gym, which sets up me strong in terms of passing on my mental toughness and persistance qualities. In addition, I like playing video games and reading scientific articles during my spare time, which are also necessary well-being boosters that I encourage my students to engage in. I am also a person who simply enjoys thinking or contemplating about different things in this world.
Finally, regarding how I tutor, I employ a strong focus on fundamental concepts to remove the necessity of memorisation. Also, I break down concepts to their very basics, allowing you to gain a deep understanding of all topics and structure well-thought-out exam responses.
