Hi! My name is Emily, and I am currently a second year arts student at the University of Melbourne specialising in international relations and history. I graduated from Vermont Secondary College in 2018 with an ATAR of 94.85, scoring well in Revolutions (42) and Chemistry (40) in particular. I am hoping to move into the international human rights field upon completion of my degree.
My tutoring aspirations began in high school through peer mentoring, where I found helping others extremely beneficial for my own learning, and in turn benefited from others’ help. I also took part in the University of Melbourne VCE Summer School, teaching classes in Global Politics. This in particular consolidated my passion for assisting others and helping any way I can through the often difficult journey through school.
In my spare time, I love saying hi to the dogs in the street, reading, and drinking lots (and lots) of coffee. I am also hoping to travel to lots of weird and wonderful places.
