Hey there! I’m Hersh =)

I am a 2021 graduate from North Sydney Boys High School and I am studying a Bachelor of Computer Science at UNSW. I achieved HSC marks of 95 in Maths Advanced and 45 in Maths Extension 1, as well as 88 in English Advanced, and am keen to teach these subjects and help students succeed.

As someone who has studied the new HSC syllabus that was implemented in recent years, I will be able to provide first-hand insight on how to effectively approach studying and revision. Part of why I love being a tutor is the joy that comes from helping students gain a greater understanding on topics they may have been less confident in.

I have experience tutoring a wide range of different subjects to students of all academic abilities. I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and therefore my teaching methods are flexible and cater to the individual needs of my students. Through personal experience, I implement the trialed and tested method of exam preparation consisting of: understanding theory, question based revision and then exam technique. I am able to provide extra quizzes, notes, textbook questions, and past papers to support my students to the best of my abilities.
