We offer tutoring online, at your home or at a local library.
Pick your preference when submitting your tutor request here.

Once you’re matched with your tutor, they’ll contact you to organise the first lesson. Any future lessons can be organised by contacting your tutor directly. Organise lessons at a frequency that suits you best.

This depends on the support you are looking for. We have 3 options available: 
(i) Consistent lessons weekly or fortnightly; 
(ii) A block of lessons in the lead-up to an exam or assignment; or 
(iii) Periodic lessons as and when you need support.

Tutoring sessions vary in length depending on the support you need. Typically, lessons run for an hour. You have the flexibility to have longer or shorter lessons depending on your needs.

We have two payment options available: (i) PAYG; or (ii) invest upfront in 10 lessons and save $50.

PAYG pricing: $65 - $85/hour
Bundle pricing (10 lessons): $600 - $800‍

There are no hidden fees. We include GST, credit card fees and transport costs in the final price.

We have no-lock in contracts meaning you can stop lessons or change tutors at any time.

Once you buy a bundle of lessons, this will be added as a credit to your account. This credit is valid for 1 year - giving you the flexibility to have lessons at a frequency that suits you best.

Your payments are completely secure and confidential.

We use the leading private tutoring software, TutorCruncher, and the best-in-class third party payment processor, Stripe Payments.

Each of our tutors is hired and trained to best help students increase their confidence and realise their potential.

We hire tutors based on 3 criteria: (i) academic performance; (ii) communication skills; and (iii) their attitude to learning and growth. 

Before they start tutoring, each tutor is required to complete our 8-chapter Training Guide on the science of how to tutor effectively. All our tutors have a Working with Children Check.

Yes! If you have a preference for a particular tutor, include their name in the tutor request form.

Our tutors don’t follow a curriculum so are able to tailor lessons to address your specific needs and struggles. Our tutors are trained in the scientific methods of how to tutor effectively and use these skills to prepare for lessons to best help students realise their potential.

All our tutors have access to a comprehensive pool of past papers and subject notes which they draw on for lessons.

Yes! You have the flexibility to change your tutor under either payment option.

If you are not satisfied with your tutor, please let us know and we will recommend some alternative tutors for you to choose from.

To cancel a lesson, simply text your tutor. We offer free cancellation when you provide 24+ hours notice. If you cancel a lesson at the last minute, your tutor reserves the right to charge you given the time taken to prepare for that lesson.

If you stop organising lessons with your tutor, you will no longer be charged for lessons.
