Hi! My name is Maddie and I recently graduated from St Scholastica’s College in 2021. Throughout my senior years I received 4 academic awards and in the 2021 HSC got band 6/e4 results in English Extension 1, Studies of Religion, Ancient History and Geography. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Advanced Studies at the University of Sydney majoring in Ancient History and English.
I love helping others and private tutoring is a great way to do this. High school and the HSC is an important time which should be academically challenging and also fun. As a private tutor I love helping students get the best possible results but also making sure they are engaged and feel supported through their study.
When I’m not studying I love reading and photography. I also play soccer and tennis which always gives me a break from academics!
My tutor Maddie was amazing at helping me within my HSC courses of English Advanced and English Extension 1. She clearly explained and allowed me to understand concepts I deemed difficult prior and was kind to read through my essays and creatives, offering useful feedback that strengthened my writing. Thanks to her my results majorly improved and allowed me to achieve both a band 6 and E4. :)
