HSC All-round Achiever 2024
Hi, my name is Zara, and I graduated from Presbyterian Ladies' College, Sydney in 2024. I achieved an ATAR of 98.75, and achieved Band 6 results in all of my subjects, placing me on the HSC All-round Achievers list. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Sydney.
I am a friendly and outgoing person, who seeks to share a passion for learning with others. I seek to encourage curiosity and passion in each student, as I credit my own journey of learning to truly enjoy each subject as enabling my high school success. Throughout my senior years, I have honed my study skills and recognise the highly individual nature of learning and studying. I seek to tailor my support to each students' needs so every student can reach their potential, and enjoy seeing students growth, both personally and academically.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy playing and refereeing soccer, going to the gym, and spending time with friends, family, and my cat, Milo.
Evolutionary Tutors were a pleasure to work with. Signing up and choosing a suitable tutor was an easy process, and they allowed me to communicate directly with the tutor as and when we needed to. My daughter's English Advanced tutor, Zara, came to our house for face-to-face sessions and she was wonderful. From the very first session right through to the eve of the HSC exam, she was available whenever we needed her. Even though she hadn’t studied the same pieces of literature, she knew exactly how to apply typical exam questions and techniques to the texts, which gave my daughter an immense amount of confidence. Prior to Zara’s tutoring, my daughter had struggled to understand how to structure essays correctly, but by the time she took the first exam, she had a much clearer idea and went into it feeling so much more confident.
